Just got my E90 a months ago, regret for not getting the luxury model which is 10k more. Now intent to upgrade to Bi Xenon headlamp togrther with the pop up washer cost $5.9 ++ at PML, Even Mike from SWC also increses the price to $5.5K not include of GST. Anyone got used to sell me??? or anyone got good lobang for this Bi xenon. Thanks. Without Xenon not Chio leh.. Sianz.. Thanks for ur help and Cheers:) :) :)

Re: E90 Bi Xenon Headlamp

imho, a projector headlamp gives a more chio look than having a xenon cos daytime, xenon not used so wats the diff and nitetime, people who see ur xenon will only :furious: at u

but projector headlamp, daytime, can see the big lens. chio chio looking but behind it, cannot tell if it is halogen or xenon.

for projector headlamp, get from internet. less than 500 bucks.

Re: E90 Bi Xenon Headlamp

Yep, don't waste your money. Invest in a better sound system because who cares about your headlights....... :)

The other reason is, it is one hellava troublesome because there may be error codes from your board computer. To be 100% sure that there is none, PML is your best bet. So LPPL.

If you really must have them, try this link;
Halo Projector Headlight for BMW E90 3 Series

I gave up the idea after some time.

Re: E90 Bi Xenon Headlamp

Bro, i can understand how you feel. To me, there's a lot of difference whether the E90 has the xenon or not. Day time one look and you simply feel the angel eyes looks great, as they do on the 5, 6, 7, X and even 1 series. Not to mention when you turn on the daytime running lights where only the halos are on...swee swee manz! BMW without angel eyes (which is like a trademark) simply feels incomplete.

However, having said all these, since you didn't get it in the 1st place, might as well forget it. The $$$ can be better spent elsewhere like the M3 steering wheel or upgrade your rims and tyres.

Re: E90 Bi Xenon Headlamp

very true, aftersale cost to fit Xenon lights is crazy cost. tat was told to me by my SE - if u din have it as std fit-in. tats y i took up the Highline to have most as std fit-in :)

use the money to mod something else bro

These are quite nice.....but can't buy from States as they're only for LHD cars.

Contact BVO for RHD version, they should be able to get them in.

Cheers

Re: E90 Bi Xenon Headlamp

my 0.02 cents....

HID projector and the angle eyes are 2 of the most important to my decision of the ride... reason : these 2 items is the most complicated to mod later, not LTA friendly if 3rd party installated blah blah blah..

my last JDM i insisted on HID projector and force the PI SE to write down as "original factory fitted HID lamps" since they are lotsa of cases which the HID is fitted locally and cause untold sorrows.... :yummie:

after about a year, then i have the lamps operated and install the angel eyes and painted the lamp housing internally black.... cudnt bothered with PI warranty anymor, its a farce.. :lol2:

as for rims, exhaust, ICE... these components can be fitted without fear or intefering with LTA or AD issues....

dun flame me.... juz my view... :)
