E90 LCI 323i

Hi guys,
Thanks to this forum, managed to learn a lot prior to buying my car. Changed from Toyota Yaris to Golf GTI then to the current 323i. The car is a 09 model and I just picked it up last week. Below are some of the stuff that I have managed to do the past week. As the car still have warranty from PML, I only intend to do all the cosmetic stuff before jumping into other areas like power and handling

8 LED ( smoked)side markers from Steven-Bimshop
19" Replica M3 rims 9.5 rear and 8.5 front
Advan Sport tires 265 rear and 235 front
both from Ray-S

Window tint from Infratint Platinum Package( LTA friendly)
De-chrome of window sills from silver to gloss black- The sticker shop in front of TP in Ubi

iPhone y-cable from Sim Lim Square #04-18 ( managed to find out where to buy from this forum!)

Orange TPMS from Leong Seng

White LED courtesy light under front doors from Steven-Bimshop

White LED boot light from Steven-Bimshop

Shadow Vehicle emblems( Gloss Black) from Bimmian.com

No picture- K&N filter from J4C

Below are the stuff tin my wishlist( in no particular order).

Before warranty expires in about 6 months:
White AE- already on order from Steven-Bimshop
White LED interior lights- waiting for Steven-Bimshop's project
M-Tech kit
Carbon trims for car interior ( still choosing between Robson, Carbon Revo and original PML)

After warranty expires:
Bastuck twin exhaust
Powerbox-
Brembo BBK either 6/4 or 4/2 depending on whether I do Powerbox, if dont do powerbox, may even just change Performance BBK front only.
KW V2 coilovers or street comfort, if on budget probably AP or ST( need to read into this a bit more)
H&R or RD sway bars
M gear shifter
M3 DCT Steering wheel

Not just tyres..... wheels too. Technically, they could also void your warranty pertaining to "handling".... might as well get all the handling aspect done - coils, sways, strut......

I checked with PML, tires and rims ok but not the rest, after checking however, I don't think i will be doing the 50K service there, I will most probably do it at Munich Auto. I was there to register my car the other day and actually saw a Lambo Aventador being test driven( the agent was next door and they shared the same parking lot) , the sound was amazing man. The environment there also different and I live in the west side anyway... but you are right, if they gonna void my warranty, I will probably change everything in the list. By the way, we have a common friend Adrian ,driving a black TTS, he's my school mate and Mountain biking kaki. He used to drive a white GTI and if I'm not mistaken changing to CLS soon.

Nice ride ....For the Y cable...I got it from a bro here in the forum....currently he still selling at about $35 (or so) per pcs. The one he is selling, the wire is only abt 15cm long nia, thus neat and good. Ur wires looked too long + messy, easy to clutter up imo......

I wanted to do the Orange TPMS but din really make any effort for it.....wats ur review of it thus far?

het, guess you are right but I rarely use it anyway so it's ok. I prefer to just stick a USB filled with songs into the slot.
In regards to the TPMS, I installed it cos I travel to Malacca once a month so I just want to know if there's slow leakage. Apparently 19" tires are hard to come by in Malacca, have to indent.So if there is any issue with the tires, if can find out before I go , it's good for me. Interestingly, the presure varies throughout my journey. I normally pump 33 front and 36 rear, the range can vary as much as 31,33 to 36,40. It also has temperature readings , good if you track often. It's quite idiot proof and gives me peace of mind so to me, it's a good buy.

I think the warranty bit is a bit grey of a grey area.

I went in for major warranty service for DSC and ABS error with coil-overs, Performance BBK (not from PML) and remap --> no problem lei.

IMO don't worry about warranty just get the powerbox and the KW first. If any part of your suspension spoil PML also say wear and tear haha. Powerbox just remove before sending in for major warranty works lor. 30 minutes can take out powerbox already.

Anyway nice ride

Tats cool....wen i initially ordered my rims with Leong Seng, wanted veri much lup the TPMS in tandem...but after some twist of event, din realy have the push factor anymore after gettin the rims elsewhere. Guess its abt time i shd get it done up :chinese:
