E93 325i a Daylight

Hi,
Recently my daytime saving light keep having problems. I have changed the LED but it's coming on and off sometimes. Workshop told me the wiring inside is in bad condition and might need to change the whole headlight. ( which cost 1000+ each side without the bulbs)

Anyone encounter this ?

Daylight savings lights? Daytime running lights you mean?

Hi bro, maybe you can ask the ws to help u to rewrap the wires as previously i open up mine and see the wires' insulator all harden and breaking up and expose the copper wires.

Oh sorry it's daytime running light. Went to BVO to change the bulb but they told me I need to change the whole light which cost more than 1k. May I know which workshop you went to? And how much it cost? BVO do not do the re wiring.

If the workshop you went were to reinsulate for you, make sure they use right insulator. Do not use cable tape to wrap. Water ingress risk. Short circuit or even fire hazard.

I remember some member dekiting at $350 a pair. Do look at the garage sale.
