E93, roof Convenience closing

hi everyone! wanted to clarify. the roof on my E93 is able to be opened remotely as i have the option of convenience access, but i seem to be unable to close it remotely! checked my user manual and it says it should be able to! am baffled! please help!

The remote control module can open and close the roof via remote control. Hold onto the button Open/close to enable the function until the opening or closing of the roof is complete.

press n hold abt 20s top most button on remote key to open remotely

press n hold abt 20s on centre button to close remotely

try it

it works on mine 325ci

Same. I can't close it remotely too but can open remotely
No comfort access too so can't open the door with keys in pocket

That's the weird part.. I CAN open the doors with comfort access!!! can someone please explain why if i can open the doors and start the engines, and even open the roof with the remote but why i can't close the roofs remotely?? is there something wrong with the coding?? please suggest where or how i can diagnose this problem?

I think this can be coded.

And yes i have comfort access but not able to close the top remotely.

TODAY I manage to get the top down remotely!!!!

Just to share:

YOU NEED to lock the door before you can CLOSE IT REMOTELY!!! Which means that you will need to press the lock button twice, -> (1) press once to lock and (2) press and hold the lock button. (this works for me!)

fyi, mine comes with the comfort access version(can start the engine with key in pocket).

btw i got it from watching the video.. heehee

Does this work for e89? Cause I too can open via remote but not close. Even after locking

Yeah.. mine comes with comfort access... start engine, open door with key in pocket... but still can't figure out the closing roof problem! sigh.. must be some problem with the coding.. maybe it short circuit?? sigh... i watched the video as well.. but no luck.. sigh... the opening of the boot while the top is down isn't working for me either..
