what's the est. gain in torque n hp?
how long it takes to install n tune?
snowdog;768190 said:Hi,
For F10 520i, estimated gains are up to 220hp & 324nM.
Installation is half an hour or so.
rt333;770326 said:Hmmm looks impressive..btw how come cannot tune to 528 spec since they are on same engine? Also dyno done before to get those gains figures?
ac323;770327 said:dont think can tune to 528i so easily otherwise PML will close down very soon.......
cheers

Can you advice how this is done, the advantages and disadvantages. And what is the cost?
Sorry that I have just joined this forum and very new to this and my ride.
thanks,
Adrian

snowdog;770501 said:Yeah, same engine. Kelleners Sport tunes the module from the car's base maps. So it can't get up to the tuned 528i power.
Dyno base run can be done before and after, but not for the tuning purposes.
wt_know;770515 said:good point snowdog.
BEST of the BEST is
step 1 - reflash 520i ecu to 528i (how nice if this is possible)
step 2 - piggback with KS 528i
ho ho ho ho ...
snowdog;91240 said:You got PM, Bro.
snowdog;770566 said:Step 2 is not possible because KS 520i & KS 528i is the same module.

My ride is 520i July'08
TVT;773366 said:Hi Snowdog
Currently driving a 525 e60 08. Will like to gain more horsepower and torque to my car.
1) Any damage to the engine, gearbox and transmission in long term?
2) What is the hp and torque gain like?
3) LTA friendly?
4) Price?
Thanks
