and imo, its too harsh to give him the 10 places penalty
there was precedence with senna and mansell too
good sportsmanship, but I agree that was a little bit dangerous for Alonso to brake to a complete stop suddenly. then again, F1 drivers can react way faster than us mere mortals
quite telling that vet didn't stop for his own teammate

Agreed.
I like Vettel just that when one has achieved success, money & fame, one might be more arrogant.
It seems that winners are always hated and many love to support the underdogs. I like alonso as well as I feel he has talent just that he needs a wee bit more luck.

He doesn't need luck...he needs Ferrari to give him a better car than the inconsistent crates they've produced for the last few seasons.

am surprised that quite a few of us here aint pro vet
i'm not.
no doubt he's a good race driver, but he just seems a tad too cocky for my liking
at that level, a good car does make the difference, and he's lucky to have the RB car
Alonso is more complete
and his frustration is understandable
just suay that he doesn't have a winning car
but the very fact he moved up 4 places by the first turn said a lot
was hoping to meet him at a pre f1 event this year, sadly event was canned
