No, think should be something like every 10k you save 4.5k as you pay 10k less tax and get get 5.5k less rebate...plus you save $188 p.a. on interest because loan amount is lowered by 10k...significant or not is up to you loh...

It depends on whether AD pass on the saving or not.

Maybe you will save quite a bit if you import cars like porky.

Self-import bread and butter bmw has little savings because pml's margin comes from the low omv that we might not get...

aren't AD profit margin for f10 520/528 bread and butter car is $60K-$70K
self import vs ad low omv ... most differs by $8k-10K since 520/528 omv is

The E class now has an old generation gearstick at the steering wheel..sibeh van and taxi

I still prefer the old fashion proper gearstick and only BMW gearstick design rock..

eh ask u all ah...now my SE tells us that theres a showroom unit with the colour we want.
out of curiosity, dont you think with a showroom unit and the car being molested numerous times...shouldnt we be entitle to some form of discount?

I rem some of my friends who had purchased before had some form of discount with their unit being the showroom unit. I was told that the discounted showroom units were becos PML was trying to get rid of them. Anyone with any knowledge on this?

I remember last time my fren wanted a red E46 Coupe M-Sport with dark brown seats (not the usual beige or black seats which he hated) and only one left was in showroom, he bargained but SE said cannot, he also lan lan buy it. In the end, he dunno how song...

Yes, it's common to think that there should be some form of discount for the showroom car, because no one wants a showroom car if they have the choice. But if you think of it carefully, any person that considers getting a showroom car must really want that car (for whatever reasons). When there is a demand, the price holds.

Of course, it's different when PML wants to get rid of it.

If you need it, just get it. Just make sure they do interior cleaning and polish the car for you. And when you collect the car, check out the paintwork closely before you sign off.
