yeah ... make sure the interior is ghim ghim ghoot ghoot and de-sterilize after many people molest the seat, interior and steering after drinking coffee, eating free cupcakes and perhaps just come out from toilet .... lolz

exactly my point..then the wear and tear of doors (opening and closing from each visitor) or whichever tarnished interior which is coated with polish or whatever it is.
quite gross la...but if a discount today is being presented to counter these..why not?

Of course lah. All in should be around $300k. My option includes B&O & Active cruise control. These 2 i don't think it is available in 535 also.

Re: F10 - 520i

Nice...but then if we ask PML to add in all these options? whats the price difference...and since it is imported, right? Where do we go to for warranties?

Very little, maybe even none.

GBP 43k=86k sgd. Then 86k*2.27+95k for coe=290k. Add in freight*2.27 to bring the car from uk to sg. I could be wrong, as iirc, shipping to singapore is taxable too. Then you still need to pay someone to run the paper work for you at the port, maybe another couple of grand. PLUS you need to add in first year road tax and predelivery prep/cleaning/number plate/tint that all dealer will also pay, maybe worth 3k? May even break the 310k mark...Plus imagine the hassle and coordination...Of course, you can argue that omv is higher, can scrap a bit more money and bank loan can get at much lower than 1.88% if bank is your friend...

Last but not least, hearsay you will need to bring to LTA for many many test because your car is differently spec with option...

Please don't get showroom car if possible because I know many people, including yours sincerely, will use force on storage compartments that they cannot open, e.g. glovebox on x6, only to realise that the release button is by the side...

Let's assume OMV = 100k (86k + whatever cost needed to buy it to Sg port) & end up 320k. Minimum PARF is about 55k. Per year depreciation is 26.5k. What is PML 535 depreciation per year?

Wow, 100k OMV ???
PML car cost abt $330k but OMV only $65k or thereabout.
$29.5k per year

I think parf is 50% now? Plus if omv is 100k, you might end up with 330k at current coe. I would think depreciation will be lower if you take it at 86k omv and paying 310k.

You cannot compare with PML pricing because it is simply not a pml car. More importantly, your depreciation will be crazy if you decide to change car in 2-3years time. Not many buyers will care if your omv is 40k higher than normal. Not many buyers will care if yours has 40k of whatever options. Buyers will only say, "Siao ah, 530i is selling more expensive than 535i and somemore not pml car".

Re: F10 - 520i

after talking talking talking .... at the end still kwai kwai order thru pml ... AD is the best

At GBP 43.5, it would be SGD 87k. Let's say 13k is shipping cost. Total OMV would be $100k. Minimum PARF is 55k.

ARF + Import Duty + GST = 127k. Including a 90k COE, it would be around SGD 317k. Depreciation/year would be SGD 26.2k. Got saving or not if compare to depreciation of SGD 29.5k.

Self import only suitable for ppl with no itchy backside.

PI 535i of similar spec, minus comfort seat is like 270k only?

Re: F10 - 520i

Just a question though, I feel that the car pulls to the left and you do have to pull right in order to correct it.

Being driving for the past 3 days. Just wonder if any bros feel the same on their ride? Understand that I could simply just get used to it but not right as it is a performance car so if they can't even get such a simple thing right, something must be wrong.

Any experience shared and remedy shared will be greatly appreciated.

Thanks.

Re: F10 - 520i

No, it should not be like this.

If it pulls to either side on a level straight road, your SE should have PML check it out. They might have thinner manpower now as year end, but your SE should be able to work something out for you.

Shouldn't have to get used to it.

I assume you've ruled out tyre pressure, balancing, alignment.

Re: F10 - 520i

If anyone needs their alignment done, i just got to know this place at sin ming.. i think only 40-50 bucks.

It's well known that many BMWs pull to one side (google it). Mine too, but mine's not too bad. On right hand drive cars, it pulls left. On left hand drive cars, it pulls right.

To fix it in PML, you will need to do your homework to prepare to counter the "it's normal" replies that they will throw at you when they test your car.

Re: F10 - 520i

Apparently, all my previous rides bought new require wheel alignment.

Yes, it should have been factory aligned.
