F10 523i 20 inch staggered set up

I went to South east and did my 20inch upgrade with BBS CHR rims and Bridgestone S001 tyres.

Tyres specs are 245/35/20, 275/30/20
Rims are 20/9/30,20/10.5/35

so far with my short drive i don't see any rubbing(but i have not had passengers on my rear seats yet)

If you see the photos. you can see the rear sticks out a little. does this means i have a wrong offset? the front is ok. My PML SE checked with the mechanics and they say the front is ok but rear a bit risky for F10. SE also tells me some tyre shop are ok and some are not with 10.5 on the rear.

the rim protector of the CH R can be seen it sticking out compare to the tyre edge. the front rim is better and not so obvious

Can any pros give me advise? (first time i change rims and tyres so not sure abt this things also)

These are THE BEST looking rims in my opinion.

Offsets for real alittle aggressive leh. After you lower car, it will confirm hit the arches if u have passengers, which means you need to roll rear fenders

10.5 rear is abit "wrong" leh. If I am not mistaken, 10.5 offset is more for E60 rather than F10, which shares similar offsets with E9X series... sorry I am not really sure about this as well.

But let me show you a pic of an E90 with 10.5 offset to show you how aggressive it is and you can see it will kenna the arches if anything heavy is behind..

you mean if got passengers, boot space fully loaded....may hurt the fender?

BTW, tyre shop also gives me this reading of 30 and 35 for the front and rear rim. what is this reading for?

it means "EinpressTiefe" or "ET" Value..

The distance between the rim's center line and its mounting surface. Wheels not centered properly affect drivability (negative roll radius changes), bearing load, rubbing on the struts or wheel arches, etc

from the picture i can see it sticks out a little on the last black car(just before the cut off white car)....

yes, same as your car now..meaning if you have heavy load, the arches may touch the tyres

hmm i call south east and they tell me if i don't want then must change to non-staggered set up and all 4 rims and tyres on 245/35/20 instead as BBS 20inch only got 9 and 10.5

by the way so this sticking out part is what ppl means by ''aggressive set up''?

ehhh how come SE tyre cannot advice you whether will rub or not? They are experts leh

SE called the tyre guys that do it for PML...they told him some shops does it ...some don't risk it. so it neither sounds right nor wrong. Next time i go change parts...bring the whole family sit inside the car....to test drive..

Rear setup should be ET40 with 10inches width rather than 10.5

unless tyre shop smoke me....but they insist BBS set up is ET35 with 10.5. they told me if not change to non-staggered and all on 245/35/20 tyres. ET29 with 9inches rims

i tried this site below
to play around...indeed cannot find a 20 x 10 for CH R model..
but i don't think i want to oversize my tire to 285. at least i stay within manufacturer limit or recommendation. is there such a thing as manufacturer recommendation of Car rims?

It is a force fit

Stock f10 is
8.5 ET 35 front
9 ET 44 rear.
These new set ups are hugely different from the E60

The CHR in the market is for E60 still, I believe.

Perfect fit for the F10 is 9.5 ET 35
Or if up the rear to 10, then more less the ET goes to 38-40
