F10 523i HighLine - What Comes With it?

Just collected my pre-owned F10 523i HighLine registered in Jul 2011. I read from previous forums that there are a lot of customizable options but just wanted to make sure I've not been "ripped off" (no disrespect to my dealer who was very friendly and helpful, by the way):

1. Large screen with GPS
2. Shift paddles
3. Normal/Sports/Sports+ mode
4. Park Assist
5. Powered seats only got 2 "buttons" at the side
6. 18" Rims
7. Reverse camera

Am I missing anything? I read somewhere that Rear Roller Blinds is included but mine doesn't have it. How do I find out what kind of audio system I have - Professional, etc? Thanks!

Hi clamsgp, congrats on your new ride.

All the above mentioned aboved are the standard features for HL.

As for the rear roller blinds, too bad 523i doesn't come with it. Even for suction door also don't have. As for the audio system, it's the if I'm not wrong is the standard type with a single dics type.

By the way, What's color is your ride? We can meetup and compare the features if you want.

the boot has a bottom where u press and it will close. basic 523 dun have that function

I have the basic 523i and i have the auto boot close button leh. Maybe mine special case. I also got comfort access (aka keyless entry) and sunroof.

Bro Pretender: when I first saw the car, I thought it was grey under the shelter of the car park, It's only after taking delivery when my friend pointed out it's called Tasman Green on Beige. Lucky for me, suction doors and CD player doesn't really bother me but I was hoping it would have at least rear roller blind because I used to own a 523i back in 1996 and it came with auto roller blind already so I was quite disappointed it didn't come with it. . Happy to meet up!

It's all about how deep is ones pocket.. (tts how I think)

Haha..you mean those reflective foldable ones with Pokemon pictures on it. Wondering if there are any workshop that can retrofit this but I guess will not do anything until after the warranty just in case.

no need roller blind...just get sherman of infratint to tint it dark dark.....u can see outside but ppl outside can't see u....hia hia hia

On my F13 the professional speaker system has a surround sound check box setting while business does not. Not 100% sure but I think F10 is similar

PML bro. I don't have adaptive drive (Comfort/Sport/Sport+), don't have sports steering, don't have paddle shift, don't have big iDrive w/map, don't have soft close door, don't have CD changer (wahlau who still uses CD?!) don't have roller blind, don't have 4-zone aircon w/rear individual controls.

I have:
- Sunroof
- Comfort access
- Basic iDrive (small screen)
- Bluetooth phone
- USB connectivity (works w/USB stick or iPhone, etc.)
- 2-zone aircon (rear is just vents, no control)
- Front & rear PDC but no reverse camera or surround view
- 17" rims (fugly, but damn comfortable)

Maybe mine was a test drive unit where they spec some things in to show customers... I'm also not sure. But car works perfectly fine.

I'm actually very impressed by the fuel economy so far. It's on par or even better than my 2011 320i. My 2006 320i had decent FC though. I think the ZF vs GM gearbox makes a difference.

And hurrah, the F10 is made in Germany!

Then in that case, I think the previous owner got the non-HL but most likely opted to pay for the sunroof.

So after warranty over, time to get a big screen iDrive... wait... the new one with better maps and BMW Apps. Strawberry + high tech = best.
