What an animal :yikess: I am glad this has turned out to be better than expected!

Re: F10 M5 Availability

Latest CAR magazine has a very interesting write up on the F10 M5.

And then pits it against legendary M cars.

Not to be missed.

Re: F10 M5 Availability

I think most reviews so far have been similar. Better than E60 M5 in every way except less character and thrill from the engine. I wont be missing the V10 anytime soon, however. I am leaning more and more towards torque everywhere having sampled their N54 in my previous 135i. It's a lot easier to tap the extra performance in our traffic compared to revving the crap out of it. However, the real test is after i collected the keys and after the 1st oil change :)

Wow bro, so fast change out your M3 to M5? Or add-on?

Keeping the M3 for a while, but i have feeling that the M5 will make my M3 seem kinda slow :p We'll see. I will still need a relatively "small" car in the household as not every place is F10 friendly. Them new bimmers are getting way too big for my liking and the new F30 is no different :( I think my wife should be able to drive the M3 around if she tries really hard, but the F10? Hell no...she would probably plaster it all over the car parks :p

Not quite. They did say that the new M5 somehow misses the edge that the previous one had.

They also remarked that the difference between the M5 and other F10 models is less apparent.

And the winner was the M3 GTS

Chris Harris of Evo said just the opposite. He said the F10 M5 doesn't feel like an extension of the regular 5 series, but a totally different car. Frankly, the most important reviewer is yourself when you get behind the wheel. These so called journalists all have their biases and agendas.

Very true.

Only way to find out is to drive the beast yourself.

On a separate note - notice that you are a fellow frozen grey M3 owner. And ordering an M5 in frozen grey. Saw a couple of frozen greys on the road. Love the colour - it's nice to see the whole car in motion. You don't really have a nice view from your own car.

Frozen grey M cars are probably worth 10 more bhp!

Yours is the one parked at Millenia? I simply love this colour. It's the only colour i know that doesn't look dirty when it actually is. On an interesting note, for those hoping to score with the ladies, this is not the colour to get. I frequently have guys chatting me up over the paint job :p

It's sometimes at Millenia to get a wash/detail.

Colour looks great especially in low light .

Can't comment on whether the colour attracts more ladies compared to men. Anyway, that's the reason why my other car is bright red :shhhh:

U really hardcore M fan...for a second car, I would hv considered other rides such as the R8, 911 turbos or even the Maserati GTS (though performance is lacking, its hell of a sexy beast) for the same price paid for the M5...

I need a 4 door spacious car for the family, so those cars u listed are not viable options. R8 and Maseratis have never appeal to me esp the latter. I like M cars for their all-around capability. For all out adrenaline seeking drive, only a Ferrari would do for me. That is not within my reach at the moment however :hmmidont:

Re: F10 M5 Availability

Anyone got a quote for PI M5?
