The M6 coupe is only 20 kg lighter than an M5. That's disappointing :(

Love that steering. Wish my M5 had that. The steering on the M5 is too uncle.

Might consider doing it as the M5's steel brakes a bit lacking in the initial bite. Will see how it goes after the brakes bed in a bit more and also depending on whether Munich will do the retrofit.

Yeah, it's drop dead gorgeous. I just don't understand what business does a coupe have being that big and heavy? It only has 4 doors and sits 4 that's all!! All they need to do for the M3/M4 is to shrink and lighten the M6 and call it a day. They will sell buckets with those looks :)

It's awesome that they're finally offering carbon brakes on a M car! Let's hope they start putting them on the next M3 and so on

Shawn said LTA won't pass ceramic brakes. I certainly hope this doesn't happen...

for a 560 bhp...one shld be able to achieve flat 4secs 100m sprint w a coupe...weight is indeed an issue..i like to see new M3 flat at 4 secs or below.

The current M5 is 4.4s for the century sprint, so the next M3 will not be allowed to better it. You are looking at 4.4s for the next M3 at best. With a front engine rear drive layout, it's hard to go sub 4s. In any case, century sprint timing is pretty pointless. 20-100, 40-120, or 80-120 etc are more meaningful for real life driving. Anything that requires a hard launch from a dig is pointless as i will never attempt it on cars costing this much unless u have $$ to burn.
