I know its a democratic country, but what is the limit that individuals can go before they get put in their place? This forum should be a community, not an ego contest. I am unable to bottle up my frustration at u any longer, I will complain to Admin.

You fellas make fun of poor thread starter. Come, mama help chew get the proper answer.
When you push the "start" button, what mode comes on? That's the normal driving mode.
I wouldn't recommend adjusting the mode, because anything else will increase engine wear & tear (Sports/Sports+ mode) and burn through your ATF like Guni's hell notes during 7th month - OR - run down your car's battery in Eco Pro mode (especially with the Auto Start/Stop function) and cause spark plug disintegration faster than MW's hourly billing.
The other modes are there to differentiate BMWs from "lesser" marques - good for bragging rights, but fcuk-all use in real world - DON'T TOUCH THEM.
No one will tell you this, because they want to see how much rope it takes a newbie to hang himself. Unker Wobbles tell the truth - and the truth shall set you free.

Isn't that the same as studying the wrong textbook when a student is preparing for exams? If I were to do that my parents would tell me "li ki si ha ho lah".
