tat means, if i want to have increase in power, i will need to tune the engine and for the sound effect, to add on the eisenmann race system ?
my 630cab is brand new. Really heart ache to grind the exhaust down .
i think there will be some difference in the contour and colour compared to the original bumper /
Between, can anyone advise on the cost of the E-race?
A louder sound wil be desirable

Ben,
If you fear of heartache, then don't hang around when they trim the arches. It's no biggie. I was the same when I brought my immaculate 650i to J4C to have the 8 pots fitted. Imagine, my 21s being taken off the very first time, fear of scratching, swapping over to replicas....but the guys at J4C did an excellent job and since then, it's no heartache anymore for me....as long as you have professionals working on your 6er. It's no difference at PML, except you don't get to see the people actually working on your car. It might be worse, who knows right?
My advice is that you get a reputable exhaust shop to do the op for your 6er. You worry too much bro (i.e. cutting and colour diff).
As for performance gains, you don't have to tune the engine at this point in time. Get the E-race and new mid pipes. That should add some hps, not much but definitely noticeable.
If you want more, then go for headers. With headers, it will definitely be noticeable increases in hps. Not just butt feel.
Remember:
Add e-race only = not much change in exhaust note and hp
Add e-race and mid pipes = noticeable e-race characteristic rumble and slight hp increase at top end
Add e-race + mid pipes + headers = LOUD LOUD LOUD plus serious hp increases (approx 20-30hps)
I suggest you finish your exhaust mods before you send your 6er for some serious ECU reprogramming. That way, you'll get to appreciate how each component contributes to the overall performance of your 6er. It also saves you money and prolongs your modification adventure.

Would I get the GTR? Yes, if the FC permits, she's eyeing on a Murcie.
Would I give up the 650i for the GTR? No friggin way. Talk about apples vs oranges.
