Well, if u r comparing that vs stock rims of E46 then +40 is pushing the wheel out a bit towards the fender but having said that, this OZ rim is 9J in width, unlike most stock or after mkt rims u might hv seen before which are 8.5J...so there's half an inch difference in width and that half inch is divided equally to inner and outer clearance.
So nett, this 9J +40 still pushes out a bit to the fender and pushes in a few milimiters inner towards the shock...

It's very good set up in my opinion :)

I think after reading your comment, Rastaman might already be at Second Link clearing custom to head to KL liao.

Yo Rastaman, if can clear your BBK, get them man. Damn good price. :)

Re: FS: OZ Ultraleggera 18''

Then slap in 235/40 255/35 rear tires, steam ah...........
Ok, he got stuck in Tuas check point..

Re: FS: OZ Ultraleggera 18''

Alamak forgot my passport and cash ! wahahhaha...so im back in s'pore again

CBS - damn, i couldnt see those links but looks nice..a bit skinny tho the spokes ! but wtf ! looks like metallic grey as well ! wat say u ?

Jack - ok, got u there. Reason y i ask is coz i remember last on my breytons, i think they were +40 and used to rub the rear a bit under bottoming. Anyway, may not be the perfect rims i'm looking for but they are staggered.

Adam - oh yes, will they clear stoptech bbk st40 in front ?

Re: FS: OZ Ultraleggera 18''

Breyton Magic +40 on 8.5J rubs? hmmm.....I really doubt it mate.
Those HM2, PG2, Privat rims are all 8.5J on +38 and they don't rub at all.

hi bro..

what's the diameter of your bbk? i know they clear 355mm rotors without ANY problem.. is stoptech caliper much bigger than brembo gt? coz plenty of space with the brembo gt..

ill look up.. i believe xkrim3 has a similar setup?

Re: FS: OZ Ultraleggera 18''

Pluses:
1) Forged
2) Light
3) Perfect offset
4) Clears your Stoptechs
5) Staggered
6) Proven wheels
7) Good price

If you don't buy them, it would be cos;
1) you don't like the way they look/colour
2) you don't wanna spend the money

Right or not?

Re: FS: OZ Ultraleggera 18''

Hi

Can anyone advise if 225/40/18 tyres can be used for both front and rear even though the rim sizes are staggered at 8J front and 9J rears?

Thanks!

Re: FS: OZ Ultraleggera 18''

OZ ultraleggeras are not forged. they are cast

Re: FS: OZ Ultraleggera 18''

more precisely, low pressure cast and shot peened

"Low pressure casting uses positive pressure to move the molten aluminum into the mold quicker and achieve a finished product that has improved mechanical properties (more dense) over a gravity cast wheel."

"Peening a surface spreads it plastically in the manner of a rivet, causing changes in the mechanical properties of the surface. Shot peening is often called for in aircraft repairs to relieve stresses built up in the grinding process."
