You tried to mask your enquiry in the GM thread, but to seek professional advice, you have gotta pay.

My take is that short term bullishness will take it up to test 1.26 topside. 1.25 has been taken out after so many months, mind you. If numerous attempts to clear 1.26 fail, then the retracement level is 1.235. Watch the moving averages. Looks to me like a golden cross.

Tragic royal marriages......whose is more dramatic......

Princess Grace Kelly, who married Prince Rainier III of Monaco; or
Princess Diana, Princess of Wales, who married Prince Charles?

Looks like the England's rose marriage was more tragic.

Kopi on me for the professional advise big guy..

Sydney. In one of his books, Real Estate Riches, Dolf De Roos talks about the trend of the retiring Aussie population migrating north towards warmer weather, beaches, better lifestyle, etc. The numbers certainly reflect his view.

Marriage that involve high-profile socialites and ended up well......

John F Kennedy Junior and Carolyn Bessette; or

Imran Khan (the suave Pakistani cricket star) and Jemima Goldsmith (daughter of tycoon Sir James Goldsmith)?

Think Kennedy's...despite the affairs?...

Roti boy

The Kennedy couple dated for years, even had their arguments documented in the scandal sheets, and the entire kingdom was definitely not invited to see them tie the knot. In this case, the sanctity of marriage transforms the prince from just the most eligible hunk alive to a very responsible guy with a beauti-ful wife and a political future.

But the other was equally amazing. Jemima Goldsmith, the beauteous 21-year-old daughter of the tycoon Sir James Goldsmith, was dining at Kartouche, a watering hole for Sloane Rangers in London, when she was spotted by Imran Khan, the suave Pakistani cricket star with political ambitions. It was kismet at Kartouche - love at first sight. They married. The leggy London heiress, who has been known to race horse-drawn carriages for fun, converted to Islam and is now living in Lahore, devoting her life to family and good works. "It would seem that a Western woman's happiness hinges largely on her access to night-clubs, alcohol and re vealing clothes," Jemima wrote in an article explaining the joys of her new life with her prince.

What transformation.

Market still jittery over oil price. Sentiment appears to be tracking the Novie oil futures. Else volume thin as corporate numbers looms over the horizon. Nothing new. October has always been a bear month.

It's gotta be Negotiator. I have watched Die Hard (Part 1 to 3) at least 20 times. Bruce Willis (John McClane) has never blabber this.

Movie quote:

"The path of the righteous man is beset on all sides by the inequities of the selfish and the tyranny of evil men. Blessed is he, who in the name of charity and good will, shepherds the weak through the valley of darkness, for he is truly his brother's keeper and the finder of lost children. And I will strike down upon thee with great vengeance and furious anger those who would attempt to poison and destroy my brothers. And you will know my name is the Lord when I lay my vengeance upon thee."

Gospel of John, or Pulp Fiction?

It's Gospel of John.....

Movie quote : " Hang on "
Vertical Limit
or
Cliff Hanger ?

It was Jules Winnfield (Samuel L Jackson) and Vincent Vega (John Travolta) in the restaurant, with a gun-to-gun confrontation with the couple-robbers. Jules said:

“There's a passage I got memorized. Ezekiel 25:17. "The path of the righteous man is beset on all sides by the inequities of the selfish and the tyranny of evil men. Blessed is he who, in the name of charity and good will, shepherds the weak through the valley of the darkness. For he is truly his brother's keeper and the finder of lost children. And I will strike down upon thee with great vengeance and furious anger those who attempt to poison and destroy my brothers. And you will know I am the Lord when I lay my vengeance upon you."

“I been sayin' that shit for years. And if you ever heard it, it meant your ass. I never really questioned what it meant. I thought it was just a cold-blooded thing to say to a motherfucker before you popped a cap in his ass. But I saw some shit this mornin' made me think twice. Now I'm thinkin': it could mean you're the evil man. And I'm the righteous man. And Mr. 9mm here, he's the shepherd protecting my righteous ass in the valley of darkness.”

“Or it could be you're the righteous man and I'm the shepherd and it's the world that's evil and selfish. I'd like that. But that shit ain't the truth. The truth is you're the weak. And I'm the tyranny of evil men. But I'm tryin', Ringo. I'm tryin' real hard to be a shepherd.”

Cool stuff, eh?

Tough one. But my guess is Cliff Hanger. Shoot me if I am wrong.

Movie quote again:

"We live in a world that has walls, and those walls have to be guarded by men with guns. Whose gonna do it? You? I have more responsibility here than you could possibly fathom....... You have that luxury. You have the luxury of not knowing what I know....... And that my existence, while grotesque and incomprehensible to you, saves lives. I know deep down in places you don't talk about at parties, you don't want me on that wall, you need me on that wall. We use words like honor, code, loyalty. We use these words as the backbone of a life spent defending something. You use them as a punchline. I have neither the time nor the inclination to explain myself to a man who rises and sleeps under the blanket of the very freedom I provide, then question the manner in which I provide it. I prefer you said thank you, and went on your way, Otherwise, I suggest you pick up a weapon, and stand to post. Either way, I don't give a damn what you think you are entitled to."

Platoon, or A Few Good Men?

Mit, of course. The Lancer look.

Movie quote again:

"Greed is right. Greed works. Greed clarifies, cuts through and captures the essence of the evolutionary spirit. Greed, in all of it's forms - greed for life, for money, knowledge - has marked the upward surge of mankind and greed - you mark my words - will not only save (this company) but that other malfunctioning corporation called the USA. Thank you."
