ok. i found a workaround by not using our own headlights.... now need to buy a projector headlight and HID ballast.

Yeah true but bro..if your getting those oem type..some designs can be bad which leads to Water vapor, focusing problem which gives bad lighting effect.

Unless you getting another set of original projector lights else I wouldnt recommend you to go for it. as its not going to be cheap too..

Re: Halogen to HID

Guys, if you want to convert to the original bi-xenon headlights, contact Denis from Propel. He has many set from de-registered cars. No point modding here and there and the cost may not be low.

My 2 cents.

Hi all,

Halogen convert to Xenon lightings on either LCI or Non LCI model can be done at $395 with installation without error bulb check issues. Comes with 1 yr warranty as well..

Done mine and was very happy with it.

Hope this helps..

Bro mind to PM me the details as well? Thanks in advance!

Re: Halogen to HID

Sorry man.. but its nuts to retrofit HID bulbs into a Halogen housing.. thats like having HID just for telling others you do..but it serves worse than the halogen bulb.. blinds others.. and NEVER gives a good beam pattern.. that is fact.

thats why you need to focus the beam after installation and lower the angle. Thats what my installer had done for me and it doesnt blind others... in fact the light projection is pretty neat and nice... not as scattered as others might think... :laughlik:

Changing the colour temperature of your hid bulbs will not throw error codes, but why would you want to install 12000k bulbs? 12000k will emit purplish light which will not be effective for illuminating the roads and may attract too much unnecessary attention. IMHO 6000k is the ideal colour temp for hid bulbs, anything above will be blueish/purplish and anything below will be yellowish.

As for your fog lights go for those canbus error canceling hid kit and you should be fine.

Agree. 6000k the best in terms of combi of colour and brightness. In some cases, you may even get off with a pass during inspection with 6000K... anything more will definitely fail.
