if u have uneven tire wear, get it check to find out the issue before putting on new ones.

There are many reasons why there is uneven tire wear. alignment is usually not one of them if uneven wear is severe

My recommendation, just my personal preference. Some are because of my location (I stay in the North West)

Tyres - Beng Heng Tyre, they are quite decent. Ask got any promo. I think Goodyear Eagle F1 Assymetric are good tyres and decent price. If you lack of any recommendation, then give this a shot.
Alignment - A lot of people recommend two workshops @ AMK - Kenny and AESOP
Servicing - I prefer R2D @ Woodlands for servicing, especially anything major. At the moment I send my car to Munich Auto (BMW M Dealer) because I have a servicing package with them. The price for the package was quite decent and my car is still under warranty (2011 car).
Rims - I tend to source online for 2nd hand from owners

BMW needs some special care. Actually most reputable German makes demand some level of special care. This means running around to the better workshops to get specific things fixed.

Just to share -- my car had a weird issue. The suspension at the rear one high one low. After I did an alignment, it was FIXED. I did align my car at another workshop prior to it getting fixed by Munich Auto. You won't believe how important a proper alignment is.

For used BMW, it is always a big no no unless 1 is willing to do research. It is best left for those passionate drivers.

BMW => Bring more worries or Bring money to workshop.

My dad bought it for me as a graduation gift. I think he know nuts about used BM too.
