i just got my car scratched last night (CONDO) those mother's son, if i catch hold of them i am going to use my Pitching Wedge and shove it up their pee holes
Scratched on my LHS from back door to the front ....

its hard to prevent itchy finger in sg, touch up one afew days later another comes up so for me i wait for a period before i do a respray rather than heart pain here n there

My 1-metre long scratch. Left it there for last two years. No workshop wants to do respray job. All said Alphine White... impossible to match. Only can respray whole car.

Maple Leaf, u shd just buy touch up paint and do "patching" over the scratch. Although it will not be matching with the bonnet, at least it is 'white" at low lighting places. Not so unsightly as the black line you have now. Also, it prevents rusting.

But if u plan to spray whole car soon, then fcuk it...

Any idea how much it cost to spray whole car to original color and perhaps to other color?

Same colour 1.5k-2k but less than 3k

Other colour 2.5k to 3k onwards

All depends on which spray painting shop you go to. Mister Minit vs roadside cobbler

Quoted basic same colour "spray shell", $1600. Meaning just one thin layer to maintain same colour.

I have the BMW Touch Up paint. Used it for my bumper. But this scratch looks too long and deep to touch-up. So leave it. Gotten used to it.

my 2 mths old porky kana also in hdb carpark when i go fren's baby shower...50cts dent + paint chip....looks like that SOB use the tip of his car key to punch it in...... anyway,i just finished running in ...so get it fixed altogether immediately...damage $200 to repair the dent ( patty + spraying)....maybe Msia is really a safer place.....

It was there for two years already. Maybe that is my scratch-in-blessing....

Touch-wood... but after that... no more scratches, no more lost emblems (remember I lost five emblems in my E46?)

Wah! Did you try one of those turtle wax colour polish thingy? it's supposed to transfer some colour to the car while polishing... maybe a little bit of aggressive polishing may camouflage the scratch mark...

Mine has got multiple scratches all over... a little bit of Autoglym Ultra Dark Shine with alot of aggressive polishing covered most of the scratch marks.... But look close enough, can still see lah!
