my driveway isn't sheltered, meaning i'd have to spray the repellent everyday? geez, i'd rather the cats get put to sleep then...
as for a dog, not possible because in order to accomodate both the cars, the gate can't be closed...
anyone knows where i can lay my hands on one of those ultrasonic cat repellents? there's one i found on the net called CatStop!! but haven't seen it at any hardware stores....

Catch the cats and if u feel a bit queasy about giving them to RSPCA, give them to Whiskytango!

(1) The Terminator - eradicate all the cats. The legit way, of course. Think SPCA. Problem solved. But lives destroyed.
(2) The Thomas Crown Affair - steal/kidnap the cats. Transfer them to another neighbourhood. Problem solved. Or rather, transferred.
(3) The Shield - buy a car cover. Keep your car swee swee as well. But watch out for burning ashes during the Seventh month, or cigarette butts.
(4) The Diplomat - talk to those who feed the pussies with a firm hint of action(s) to be taken to protect your turf. Ask for accountability. Or else...... Problem might be solved. Might not.
(5) The Nice Guy - adopt a forgiving mentality. Live and let live. Pay few more visits to Zaino your ride. Appreciate the serenity of your neighbourhood, and the cats, dogs, and the crows and pigeons that come with it......

although putting strays to sleep is cruel, this is the govt's official way of culling the stray population. so on paper you're not wrong to call them in to catch the cats.
however the best way will be to just cover up your cars. get the better covers so that they wont scratch your paintwork. your new car is a soft top?

I use to have same problem...
Let me t loan my bear and lion to you for a week... they dun only help you to chase away your neighbor's cats, they destroy any crawling pest possible found in your yard.... :twisted:
Having dogs is still best solution to your long term problems.... just have to train them so even your gate open, they dun run away.... can be train.. trust me..
With that, you have a new pet and in the same time chasing away the cats not necessary to put them to sleep

no leh, if u read my first post, i mentioned that i would like to avoid that alternative as far as possible but spraying repellent everyday is a very expensive exercise right? in the long run the costs incurred could have paid for Aero kit with spare change for an AC exhaust.
i like animals too, i had many many dogs before(rottweilers, german shepherds, boxers) and even a copper eyed persian cat once, so i understand where u're coming from though, but what to do? i love my cars even more. :|
see how lah, start keeping dogs again? hmm, dun think i'll have the time. from feedback so far, it seems like car cover's a good idea... damn it, should have negotiated from my agent before signing on the dotted line...
