its funny how in all forums, people who have never met each other address each other that way. especially when someone is selling you something or meeting up for the first time.

perhaps car forumers have traditionally been male dominated, full of women drivers jokes, in your face boob pictures, and certainly the usual "quality" jokes. haha. women now are the new targets for car sales and new sales strategies are derived for women. instead of hp, torque, gear ratios, 0-100 in X seconds... women like onboard gadgets, luxury leather seats/dashboards and range of colours both interiors and exteriors.

ok. so this post is not to rant or champion female equalities...

i am just amused at how many times i have been called a bro. lol. yo, me no bro. me sis! been a "heng tai" before for a fren's wedding, have even driven the luxury wedding car outstation as part of the groom's party. yes, my kaki's do treat me like one of the boys.

years ago, in my first appearance after being with a car forum for 6 months, a fellow forumer walked backwards and fell into a drain after hearing my nick when i introduced myself. quite funny. they were great afterwards.

i really like to hear from you... why the "bro" treatment? or if you are a sis in real life. come out! come out now!!
