Me too! 523i, E60, 05, Dark blue (almost black). Plan to hang on till the end...
GPS (RGB), Aux, DVD Interface, Rear Cam, Diy Boot release, Diy Foot well lights, Diy sport button, Diy extra power sockets..
New castor arms, new ac blower motor, new cooling hoses, new paint job.
Whats next?

I'm no pro but I got the tips from other forums.
My car, among many, did not come with a remote boot release button in the car and the only release button is on your key, which cannot be exercised when its in the ignition. A real hassle if you are double parked in the rain and you need to open the boot for someone with lots of (shopping) bags. I found an article in a different bimmer forum that provided a step by step instructions on how to install one. The job cost me less than $2 sgd. Later I found an article on hidden power switch option and thought, why not, cuz I was considering a power box or something of that kind. The footwell light was something i felt was missing in the car and should be a 'must have' and there was an article in there too. So my fingers got itchy again...

Sure, its quite easy really. Need some soldering and old PC connectors...
Footwell Light are a bit more tricky cuz u have to get the right connectors 'I use PC speaker connectors or the ones that comes with CD drives / sound cards (back in the days when sound cards were not moulded to the motherboards)..
Sport button is a must have if you already changed your gear bracket to the M5 version cuz there's already a sport button there!!
