Can anyone advise on how to check ATF oil level on my 2006 E90 320i? And also in the engine bay, there is a tank which stated ATF oil only on the cover so is it for power steering? Thanks.

To check the atf oil level - start the engine, jack your ride up, locate the transmission and open the fill plug. You can see the atf flow which can will give you an indication of the level.
