My f10 has quite some wind noise at 120km/hr and up. At 90km/hr only tyre roar. The wind noise normal?

Huh ?!?! F10 also got wind noise @ 120 km/h ?? Tot newer model should have much improved over this issue liao ...think BMW must ask Lexus to dao ka jiu :hmmidont:

might wanna do , cos of the road noise.. not wind noise
(from E60 to F10, a lot of different)

or look forward to any suggestions on this.

hope to hear some feedbacks on this.
there is 2 coy doing it now.

In my observation, F10 is lesser in noise and more in comfort than E60!

Comfort and power ,F10 is much better.

I feel F10 is definitely much quieter than my previous E60. No wind noise at all, just some tire noise from the RFT.

Yup no wind noise from F10 during driving.
But can hear road noise.
that's why thinking of sound proof the undercarriage and wheel arc.

Its noisy when go on eco pro mode when going at low rev during heavy traffic.

I adjusted my windows so that it angles towards the door seal and I adjusted my door to tightened up against the door seals as well.

Much quieter - those passing motor cycle noise on the highway is a lot softer now. Wind noise as well .......

My ride is a coupe so it's more susceptible to noise (frameless windows, longer door etc) but the principle is the same ......

no wind noise but tyre noise on 18" stock.
Engine noise apparent during pickup >2500 rpm

When I first got my F10 523 with only 6K on the mileage, the road noise was terrible especially at low speed. It was running on Continental 18" RFTs. Since changing to Pirelli P7 RFTs, it was so much quieter. I also noticed that the underside of the rear parcel shelf is exposed metal instead of being lined with some materials. Cost cutting by BMW?
