Is KW2 suspension good?

Hi,

I am looking to change my current suspension to KW2.

Is this good ?

I am not looking to do tracking . But just wanna look nice lowered and slightly hard in the damping .

Any comments from owner who owned it?

Cheers

Re: Is KW2 suspension good?

Alright bro..

As I heard from some workshops that some ppl change KW2 . After using a week, they switched to KW3.

So I need opinion from driver itself and not from workshops :)

Re: Is KW2 suspension good?

kw v2 is good ! I'm on kw v2 also on a e93 335i.

On a e93, the kw v2 sits somewhat lower than on a e92. Guess it's the extra weight.

Re: Is KW2 suspension good?

I hope not ! My V2 are only afew months old.....

But I've got a friend who's V2 has been on his e92 335i for a couple of years and so far so good. And his driving is aggressive plus he occassionally tracks his car !

Re: Is KW2 suspension good?

The rear shocks stiffness adjustment for kw v2 on a e93 is abit more complex as need to remove a number of panels to reach it, but it'll probably be the same for any adjustables anyway... On a e92 it's slightly simpler

Aiya.... Your car not need change kW. Just fetch me.... Your car will be back as per your main purpose

Re: Is KW2 suspension good?

KW v1 = good price and suffice for street use
KW v2 = acceptable price and great for street use as the damping can be tweaked
KW v3 = the best if price is not a concern alto you don't track

I sat on my fren's 5 series using KW v2. Worth the buy! feel just like stock comfort to me.

Re: Is KW2 suspension good?

If budget is a constraint, can try ST Coilover. Works like KW v1. Their parent company is KW.

Re: Is KW2 suspension good?

Street use KW2 is good enuff.

KW3 and Clubsport are overkill for your needs, as you've stated.

Re: Is KW2 suspension good?

Ya ,that's what I thought .

It's good to have, but might not be necessary :)

Cheers
