is the 118 hatch ugly? yes or no?

This previous 1 hatch is acceptable but the coupe is so so.
However this new 1 esp the 118 looks really bad. In fact it's clumsy looking.

Most cars in their stock form do not look really good. The F20 during the initial launch looked fugly to me, but after awhile and with aftermarket tuners coming out bodykits for the F20, it really made the F20 look alot better.

The design has sorta grown on me over time but with a proper bodykit and rims of course.

As for your decision between RS3 and the 1M, I vote for 1M, not because I am a bmw fanboy but simply bcos the 1M looks better.

Z3mCoupe one of the best looking to me. Not sure shooting brake qualifies as a hatch though.

My favourite 1 series is the e82.
Last Sunday got one orange one and his twin brother who just drove past, very sart looking.

Current Gen 1-series hatch has ugliest headlight BMW ever made.

i thought the gen 1 was bad...the new ones r worse. i hv a problem with bangles legacy cars....n if u remember i did say my 530 was terrible.

alfa looks great but...drives poorly. the hot hatch kingdom is still Vw/Audi...n i m really loving the new A class...

And u still bought it.. U cock!

at least I bought a car which I personally thought wasn't ugly.

I am driving the 1 series. I am happy with the car. And I am proud that I bought it with my hard earned money.

Those people that continually commented that the car is ugly. Your opinions are noted but to continually dwell on this topic when you are aware that you have made some forum mates upset, it's just not very nice.

If BMW continues not to get the looks of a 1 series sorted out, it may not be a bad idea to bring back the "3 series compact". I remember that the E36 compact was a great first car for some

U can't fall in love with BMW design at first sight. My wife got her 1er jus becoz of it "angry bird" look alike fornt portion especially the head light.

I sort of starting to like the look after a while.

I think the F30 is super ugly... Its so ugly that I actually bought 1 to confirm that its actually ugly and not my imagination :yikess:
