Is there a cigar lighter port in the front of f10?

There is no cigar lighter port for the e60 525i. Does the two has one now? Or is it still in the rear?

Yes there is, in front of the gear shift.

There are two. One in the Centre console, and one under the passenger footwell.

I'm quite certain that I am only seeing 2 at the end of the center console, facing the rear passengers. Front passenger footwell? Seriously never checked there before.

Any idea if I need to install a car cam ... where do I tap the power from which is hidden. I don't wish to plug into the rear passenger ones ( E60 525) Usually is from the cigarette lighter correct? Any Bros can share pls. Thanks

There is one in front of gear stick inside the coin compartment. I connect mine direct but will hv "high voltage discharge" warning.

Tap the wire from your camera cigar lighter connector, connect the +12 to the cigar lighter port in the fuse panel. Ground to the chassis of the car.

This way, when power on, there will be power and the recorder starts recording. When u power off, power cuts and your recorder will sense this and switch off. There is probably settings in your camera to do this.

Oh ya, facelifted model does not have cigar lighter port for the driver. None for the front passenger too. However there are 2 for the rear passenger.

You mean the F10 LCI? Or the G30? The F10 will have the 12V socket in the front where the cupholders are - as well as a hidden one in the front passenger footwell if I am not mistaken. Best bet is to check the owner's manual.

Right. TS was checking for the F10. So it should be one in the center console (cup holder area) and one in passenger footwell. There is another in the rear center console for rear passengers (below the rear blowers) as well as one in the boot.
