I was also 'seduced' by starblack's 5 years warranty before but when taking a closer look at the fine print, it excludes coverage for the air-con compressor and coil, which are critical.

but would u say that having is better then not having. resale of the car will be easier given that i have some warranty under my belt still.

any1 can comment on warranty claims from both workshops, as well as their pricing for 10, 20 and 30k servicing?

Try R2D, look for Rodney. One of the best workshop ive ever been to.
Now if u open in the daytime, i go to u more often!

As for J4C...have several experiences of my own. Now I go to either Boss or R2D

However, the choices given by the PI are only Starblack and J4C. Any other workshops will not be covered by PI.

Given the 2 choices, which would u pick.

we all know the reliable reputation for J4C, just wanted to draw comparisons to starblack which not many ppl bring up in the forum.

talking about PML, collected my car from PML yesterday and was SURPRISED to be charged $44 for labour to check my suspension

i complained about my damper not being effective thinking i can get 4 pcs new damper

the SA promptly did the check and told me damper still have 80% effectiveness so no new damper but there's a labour charge being levied for checking on my damper!! PML da one

2.5 yr old and 86k km only.
Their reason is - still got 80% effectiveness mah.
My thought is - never mind, i got 1 more chance (will be back for last svc within 12k km)

shld not be the case leh bro. any suspected fault will be reviewed at no charge if under warranty. u did tell him still warrantied why must pay?

besides, if you are tuning up your ride, the one and only rhommel singh is there to dyno tune you ride as well.

the grooming service comes complimentary with each service or got to pay?
