Re: Khang Auto

I have an extended warranty from TWM expiring in 2012. Inherited from previous owner.

My 335 also have a 3-year extended warranty, now with the new owner.

I am raging, but I am thinking linear.

It's about time victims here get the prerogatives and perspective right and pursue the appropriate actions. More constructive remarks required here. Perhaps join forces with other car forums in seeking recourse.

Enough of Harvard's review of Khang's business model, unless you were still in Harvard when forumers were buying these warranties and all of a sudden you graduated and realised you could identify the flaws after it failed.

20/20 hindsight could be more constructive and timely.

Re: Khang Auto

Don't waste time. Take immediate action. File police report, engage lawyer, inform acra. The longer you wait the high chance it will go haywire. If legal is expensive, consolidate as a group.

Khang owners will have no problem setting up another company, unless they are bankrupt. They could always get someone else to incorporate the new company.

Their paid up capital might be low or not enough for landlord. So your parts if outside your cars will have high chance of either auction or scrap to karung guni. If your cars went in for engine mounting claim, they will have to lift out your engine, then you are suay bcos the engine no longer belongs to you liao.

Happy new year and gong xi fa Cai.

The cheap extended warranty scheme?
Still believe got free lunch shit? Hello, we are not teenagers.

And worst of all, did TWM actually do a thorough checks on the vehicles before admitting them to the scheme?

Free? We paid for it !!!

If free we will have ourselves to blame.

But we paid a premium - as in a put premium to insure our cars' potential worries. Cheap or not cheap is perceptive. That for sure is not FREE LUNCH.

FYI I paid $1800 for a 3-year extended warranty package with TWM.

And FYI, they inspected my car on all the mods. How would I know whether they priced the premium with respect to my car's conditions, mileage, OMVs......

If your insurance company quoted you a low premium on your life policy and then subsequently filed for Chapter 11, would you be jumping on yourself for paying cheap premium?

That's like barking at the wrong tree !!!
