Re: Knocked into a curb today
yeah anyway my experience with the te*** is that back in june, my car had this helicopter sound whenever my car is moving. So, my friend intro-ed me to this bengwah guy and so I went. When I was there he said the engine has to be overhauled and it cost 8k flat. The repair took 1 month. My car was in the WS for 1 month. Then after that i got a call from him, saying that the car was ready to be picked up. So i went to the work shop and took my car to the road, to my surprise, the car exhibit some weird problem, seriously under powered (its a 335) and after 2km into the highway, the engine fault signal showed up. Frustrated and pissed, I called him up and he told me this with his irritating voice "oh bring to my workshop i check" in chinese. So I went to his workshop and he told me he didn't install the vanos gear and needed me to pay 300 for the vanos gear. With doubt that this should be included in the overhaul, I gave him the benefit of doubt and paid him. Subsequently my car vibrated tremendously after he installed the vanos gear and i brought it back, he said the engine mounting did not install properly requested me to pay 400 for new mounting for THE MOUNTING HE DID NOT INSTALL PROPERLY. He tricked me in such a way he gave me the assurance in the beginning that he is gonna fix everything and he will take up the responsibility, end up when i went down he shove an invoice into my face. The last time i went there, i requested to do a gear oil change, instead of screwing back the cover, he used cable tie. OMGWTF, seriously it sounds to f*** u* to be true, but honestly this is what happened to me.
Unfortunate enough, my auntie brought her 523 to change fuel pump, they installed the plugs wrongly. Brought to PML technician and the technician was also too scared to solve the problem. He told me "wah brother, the car vibrate without showing fault at idrive, i sibeh kia leh". So he asked my auntie what did she do to the car "outside" and will tackle the problem directly. luckily, she paid 250 dollars to undo the dirty work of this workshop.
But too bad for me, my car shows no sign of engine fault but my car is still under powered. sighhhhhh.
FOR people going there for servicing, do not be fooled by the high end cars over there. THEY ARE THERE BECAUSE this WS is one of the many WS who warrants PI's car. But does he really honor the warranty? I have a friend, don't know if he is willing to share the story here, who has bought a car from a PI that is warrant by this workshop before.
