Hi guys & gals,
We have done quite a few night drives in the past few months, i am just thinking it might be nice to have a morning drive and follow by a breakfast.
Ok, guys, this is the confirmed route. We will meet at Kallang Mac, then drive to Mt Faber to catch sunrise and Labrador Park to enjoy sea breeze, then go 99 turns and up to AYE back to ECP, then Joo Chiat Bak Kut Teh. I tried my best on the timing liao, if too late, cannot see sunrise liao, then we will have to walkie talkie each other inside the car how beautiful the sunrise is.. hehe...
Proposed Schedule
6:15 - Meet at Kallang Mac.
6:30 - Move Off.
6:30 to 7:30 - Mt Faber -> Labrador Park -> 99 Turns -> AYE -> ECP -> Joo Chiat.
8:30 - Go home and sleep.

The morning drive is 25 Jun 2006 (Sun). Here are some infos to update you guys.
1. We will meet at 6:15AM @ Kallang Mac and move off at 6:30AM sharp(no waiting). Those who are late will have to join the convoy half way. Give me a call and i will tell you our location. The route for this morning drive is Kallang Mac -> Mt Faber -> Labrador Park -> 99 Turns (South Buona Vista Road) -> AYE -> ECP -> Joo Chiat Road.
2. Those who have a pair of Walkie Talkies and don't mind sharing with those who don't have, please bring along your spare set...ya
3. The Bak Kut Teh place is HOCK GUAN KEE BAK KUT TEH at 328 Joo Chiat Rd #01-02. Those who are going direct, we should be there around 8AM. There is an open air carpark opp the coffeeshop and it can park up to 60 cars. Can i request those same model cars, try to park together. I need to take video and do some editing later on, so it will be good that same model cars park together(just try lah). Thanks.
4. Ivan aka ACSCAB2 will be the topless car, but i haven't found the person in charge of the video. Worse comes to worse, i will be the one taking video, but my video skill sucks..hahaha.. any volunteer?
5. Alan aka PiggyBoyz will be the convoy leader and Jeremy aka totoseow will be the sweeper for this convoy. All the super fast cars, eg, Shaaz, SEI, RaptureM3, you guys will be at the back of the convoy and keep toto company.. worried toto will be too bored at the back... haha.. just kidding.. nah.. let the newbies take the front of the convoy...ok..
6. I want to stress out again, no fast and furious driving and no overtaking. All cars will maintain in 1 single lane. When comes to traffic lights, if convoy breaks, we will slow down and wait for the rest to come. We can use walkie talkie to communicate, no worries..ya
7. Emile, DriveMax, SEI, KaiPin, Pilotsnoopy, Orh lulu, Gadaffi, smoobies, bmwF1, i don't have your number, please PM me. Thanks.
8. I will give morning call at 5:30AM, if anyone thinks that its either too early or too late, PM me your prefered timing and for those who don't need morning call, PM me also, so that i can call less ppl. Pls pls do not turn your hp off or to Silence Mode, if you really think that you cannot make it to the drive, just give me a call or sms on Sat nite, so that i will know not to call on Sun morning. Thanks.
9. The drive will still proceed, even if it rains.

PS: No fast & furious driving pls. I wish to share with u guys something here, the E90 Division had organised a few night drives before and I must admit that I am the "Black Sheep" in the group. A few times, i did not put them into consideration by driving so fast in the front, and i did not realise that they are actually having difficulty catching up. Until one day, i happened to be the last car of the convoy and I realised that it was so difficult to keep up the convoy because when the convoy speed up, i have to speed up more, by the time i step more, the convoy slow down and i need to brake even harder and faster to stop before i hit onto someone's rear (at that point, i wish i have a better brake system). And they were only travelling at less than 80 kmh. And thats when i started to realise how dangerous it is if we were to travel at 100++kmh.
So guys, let us have an safe drive and slowly enjoy the morning...ya
