Well as for the article issue. The car is an import used unit so what factory warranty he want when it's already 4 yrs old. Factory international warranty is 2 yrs only. Ang moh wanna be tua bai siah.

Erm... Not warranty, but servicing and repairs (I might be WRONG :yummie: )...

All he wants is to change parts (as quoted: New Michelins, brake pads and disks all-round, Local Navigation and Competition Alloys - a top-to-tail inspect and repair) and he'll pay for it. But MA doesn't allow it cuz it's PI and "you haven't bought from us, we are out of pocket, so you owe us".

And even if warranty is covered (or extended), it's still bundled up with "BMW International care" where he serviced in KL.

The complete story has not been told here. I'm with MA and Pml on this ( never thought I'd ever type that). Hope the whole story comes out.

Can't our local AD do better than "adoption fee" formula?

At least there is hope with BMW KL, this is potentially good news for all PI owners

What do they mean "out of pocket"? The showroom is very quiet. Are they closing down?
