Yep, it's perfectly ok so long the dimension fits the original caliper...
I had the option to buy Performance Friction One as well but I pulled the trigger too early for Alcon....

Checked the Bimbo ones, the rotors are even lighter but that's because they are for Cup Car set up one and therefore the lifespan for street is quite short.

Anyway, I have always said the Alcon's half-moon cuts are probably the best in terms of design compared to the slotted or x-drilled ones

btw do u know what other pad options does alcon have? in traffic jams the slow grinding noise is really getting on my nerve.. worsened by the fact that my mom/gf kept asking me "wah whats wrong with your brakes why so noisy??"
no choice (since did not admit to changing bbk) had to reply.. aiyah bmw damn lousy one lah.. haha
so any quiter pads to recommend? think james only sell ferrodo

Just curious, how much would the 6+4 setup cost? 15K? That's reasonable for BBK right? Unless you're talking about the PCCB...that's another league of its own, or the AP Racing water cooled setup....

I think 15k is too expensive. It should be close to 10k if not slightly in excess of 10k.

So it's really affordable safety! My 8+4 mono brems cost slightly more only...no regrets at all. Stops at a coin.
