New Bird

Hi there, my friends.

Am new here hope to get some tips and guidance.

Am currently hunting for a COE car, wanna keep it within $20k budget
for a BMW (as I understand the engineering is superb).

Would anyone please give me some advice on what to look out for?
And also are there any "traders" I should avoid?

My budget is kinda tight, so if I can't find one will still rely on our world-class public transport.

Cheers and hope to get some useful tips from you!

PS: prefer a 318 or 320.

Re: New Bird

melts, 20k is for car buying price rite? better to provide for another 5k for wear n tear.
most ppl tend to overlook the post-purchase part, then they realise gotta spend money on maintenance, repairs, petrol, road tax etc...then again, for cars left a few years, whether can get loan is another prob, especially with the tight credit review by banks. at most u can get in-house loans from the car dealers....anyway don't blur blur put down deposit after some hard sell talk by the car dealers cos loan not thru, most likely they won't refund u the deposit. best is still full settlement.
what they say or promise to do for u, get it written down in black n white.

Re: New Bird

agreed with sszone bro........

cheers

Re: New Bird

i think the dealers hate me ah teaching our new Bird meltz but then again....i been thru that phase as a newbie.....buy car very soong after so many years of bus mrt and then suddenly have to face up to committments of maintenance and stuff.....that one very siong especially for a young working dude....unless u tell me family sponsoring or something lah
