New f30 temperature

Hi my new cars temperature is around 115 to 120 degrees.. Is this normal for the f30!!

For Coolant temp, I'm running at 109-110deg coolant temp (N55 engine) ... Not sure about N13 engine . But I think the MINI equivalent N18 is running lower ...

The f30 shows oil temp not water temp unlike most cars. So yes 115 -120 I quite normal

I think all regular bmw temp are oil temp but I may be wrong.
And all are abt 110 deg cel.
So TS there is nothing wrong with your car.

Oh f20/21/22 don't have any oem gauges ... Reading the data thru the p3 vent gauge instead .

I guess you were on jap rides previously.
Most ang mo chia run hotter.

Erm.. Last time rx8.. But b4 my f30 was audi a4..

I would imagine audi to be a much hotter ride..

Hi bro, you can get the M/// Performance Alcantra Steering with LED display at either PML or at Munich Auto. Believe it is available for retrofit on F20 and F30. Not cheap though, retail is 3k plus before discount. Requires software and hardware install about 1 day downtime. It has other modes like lap timer,stopwatch and g force meter. Makes you want to speed though cos when accelerate, the led lights build up from green to red and flash..addictive.

U could always get a scan gauge/ ultra gauge too

Or a P3 vent gauge to fit onto your vent if u prefer a more subtle fitment.

OBD . But got an additional couple of wires for the boost etc sensors .

It's really good actually. Perfect fitment and if u are concerned of cooling, it's really not that bad. Didn't feel affected by the lack of one to two vents .

I think one of the site sponsors do sell HUD. Not sure if applicable to the F2x series .

Good to be skeptical! That's why there's the option of tapping the sensors for those wanting pinpoint accuracy but obd readers are not exactly "bobo" shooters to begin with . Heh .
