Re: NEW member day. (BMW 335I coupe content)
First of all, perhaps you need to reevaluate your sentence structure and phrasing because it seems right now with the "320 ALSO..." you are still not letting go on the fact that mine might not be a 335. That being said though, I don't own a m3, so i really cant compare on the fuel consumption. However, comparing stock for stock, you claim 7.3km/l. Realistically, with more city driving, yes that IS an accurate gauge of how much fuel consumption should be. I can only get around 8-8.6 when i do more highway driving compared to city driving. However, you're gonna argue that a 4l v8 is gonna drink less than a 3l turbo? And deny the figures that BMW itself, the us government etc claims on its engines? Makes me think unless you own an m3 yourself and can give a more accurate figure by living with the car more and finishing a whole tank and seeing how much mileage you achieve, I CANNOT believe you. Afterall, a turbocharger, by design, is meant to be more efficient. Lets say the horsepower rating is the same as the e46 m3(3l turbo vs 3.2l), the turbo engine will burn less. More so when compared with a heaving m3 v8. I will check with my friend who owns the matte silver m3 in my pictures and see his fuel consumption. I remember he refuels every 3 days. Also, I'm running on 95, which gives me more mileage as well.
