newbie to forum....n sum questions

black 125i here..and I believe its aka E82? not sure..

I'm new to bmw. Was just wondering if any bros here can intro me to a decent technical service advisor or customer service officer when I bring the ride in for the 1st 12k service

1) Which centre? alexander/east coast or bukit timah
2) Someone who don't take me for a ride and don't ripe me off by recommending me to change this part and that...I know most conti marques agents do that.
3) Someone who can answer questions like "What kinda engine is it? N52B30 or N54B30? 3stage intake manifold? and not go "huh" when he's hears this question.

Just kidding, welcome to the forums!

Where do you stay? You should be more concerned on where the nearest servicing center is.

1. Perhaps you can list where you stay (region) and we got plenty of folks to recommend you their own CSAs. Or you can tell them you're from the forum and no one will dare to bully you. Hehe.

2. At 12k servicing, you're looking at oil change and oil filter change + some others...which is mandatory. Will set you back around 400.

I just did my own servicing for break-in.

its the N52B30 ...the N54 is for the 135i

Thanks guys for the warm welcome...I live around chinatown area..but quick access to ECP and aye...so both East Coast center and alexander is equally same distance..:nehnehhh:

Haven;t got around to taking any pics yet..

And so I've heard, the 125i has a N52b30..was just hoping a good CSO can answer that like you guys...
