Saw ST Powered GTR in action last Saturday in Sepang.
The way it took the turns...incredible!!
According to the driver, he was not pushing the car, but yet he achieved a transponder time of 2m35sec!! It was only 1 sec slower than a GT3RS
The car was stock except for speed limiter removed by Mines. Maybe it had the Mines upgraded ECU program also..
Best time that day was 2m26sec by a modded STi.
But the exhaust note down the front straight was disappointing though.

Official UK roadtests have started appearing.
Evo mag just pitted the GTR against their best in class
0-100-0 against Z06
Road tests against the R8
Track shootout against the GT3.
Can't wait to pick up that copy.

I guess when the GT3/GT2 ships with the same gearbox, it may shift the power balance back again. Thot it was odd the GTR had a passenger during that lap side-by-side while the GT3 didn't seem to.
