Park Assist for X1 and other BMWs

Just wanted to share my observations that for Park Assist to work, the sensors require that objects are present in between the designated parallel parking spot when activating the system. This means that Park Assist will not activate if you are parallel parking in a lot where there is only one car in front or behind you. Kindly confirm if this is the car for those who have used the Park Assist system. Thanks.

This means that Park Assist will not activate if you are parallel parking in a lot where there is only one car in front or behind you.
