Only RM$50 for Angmoh Bengs? Thats cheap bro :lol2:

Yeah - I am just as cheap as other bros.

Must bargain and get lower otherwise sure die. Anyway, I have been around long enough to know must keep only one RM 50 note in the wallet and the rest keep safe elsewhere.

They know I have more cash somewhere, but what to do? Argue? Nah, they are happy with RM50.

They also tell me be careful, got another radar trap ahead, but nothing. More bullsh@t.

Yeah once I asked them and they sya their hiadees has another road block near Yong Peng:lol2: which is actually Bullsheet anyway :(

These days I slow down within +/- 3km of the suspected speed traps as recorded on my GARMIN GPS. In my last 3 trips, I didnt get stopped at all.

Another clue one could take is from the Malaysian cars, if u notice all of them are speeding, chances are their local knowledge tells them ther aint any TPs around.

Usually, i don't care whether there is any speed traps. I juz speed all the way except for a few known spots. I juz wish that i strike toto & buy M5. Drive pass these camera @ 300k & c whether tio saman or not.

Camera? What camera?:(

They never showed me any evidence or radar gun which captures the speed. More often than not, they walk towards yr car empty handed, ever ready to pick up the RM$50 note from you. Some of the other more discreet ones will hold what looks like a booklet containing summon slips, holds a pen in one hand and pretend they are about to pen down yr offence. My standard reply is "Boss, Lets settle here lah, You good I good". Then they ll say "Boleh, RM$50 chu kop".

ps. For M5 , RM$50 wont be enuf :lol2:

in december, when my dad was driving from penang to KL, somewhere after Ipoh, there was this "fake" rd block. there was one Police Waja with 3 officers. The waja was parked on the shoulder and one officer was standing on lane 2 (with no red flag, no cones either) and randomly stopping cars. We were told to carry on but i'm very sure my dad was doing no less then 140km/h.

I concluded that these three officers were probably heading somewhere but decided to earn some Kopi $$ along the way.

How can a highway road-block be operated this way? just one car with three officers??:screwedu:

That was what I heard people hear say also. On my trip to genting during xmas, I was stopped twice. I was going slower but above 110km.h:yummie: . Just before the next stop point, I was going like 160/165kmh, but I manage to go through the road block safely :screwedu: . My co driver said maybe the previous road block and this one are one and same team.:juggle: so since I already paid before, there is no need to pay again

FYI, d road block could be any stupid place. My M'cca friend who drive Toyota Caldina GT (tis is a turbo ka) almost drive into a police road block. The road block was rite after a 90 deg bend on d way up d bridge to Mahkota Parade. He is driving close to 100k in & out of d bend.

Well, it is normal nowadays. If u don't stuck in jam for 1 hr during holiday season, there is something wrong.

Re: Parking Fine - Malacca

true but I don't enjoy trying to drive a monster in tight crowded roads....
