PI Vs PML

Which would be a better choice?

For PI cars to go PML = $10K Entrance Fee.

1. Will they treat you as a 2nd Class citizen? Will you get equal treatment compared to PML customer?

For example two cars booking for servicing, which would they service first?

2. Will the Spare Parts & General Servicing be more ex than those PML customer?

Just wondering..

Re: PI Vs PML

this like asking if I'm a PR i pay taxes will I be treated 2nd class citizen. put yourself in PML shoes. set up showroom, let customer test drive car, then customer buy from PI and pay some entrance fee, then problem come bang PML table. no logic, right?

if you choose PI, any after sales service you should go to their recommended workshop for regular oil change. parts wise, during discount period, PML parts & acc. prices are attractive. or else eng soon or normal tear and wear parts are easily available in most workshop. unlike if gearbox boomz due to whatever reason then your PI must claim on your behalf.

endless comparison.

cant agree more with acupunch.

yes. definitely diff treatment. just and indication for u. if u made appointment on a particular day you will still be the last to be served after PML customers have been attended to.

servicing and repairs will be some 20% more than regular PML customers.

Re: PI Vs PML

If you have decided PI, then why go PML for servicing? It is not like you can't do it outside. Look for our sponsor workshops. Funny questions you are asking.

Agree with Pengful. Most PI's provide warranty cover with TWM warranty where BVO and Boss are in their authorized list of workshops.

I will be visiting either one of them when my PI F10 is due for servicing. I believe these workshops should be cheaper than PML and the best thing is I can drive in without making an appointment. I can also talk to the mechanic and watch them service the car which you can't do at PML.

Cool, do share with us your experience, e.g. which car, specs, OMV, servicing experiences, etc. I'm also thinking of getting PI cars too...

Is not a funny question IF (and a big IF here) you believe that PML workshop is better than outside workshop. Then the natural tendency would be to want your cake (buy at cheaper $$$ from PI) and eat it too (servicing at "better" PML workshop). Of cos, if you dont believe PML is better, then yes, it appears to be a funny question.

Cats. Because if the LSD dies with DSC off, you still have another 8 times to try it!

+1

Dun let FEAR take over your buying decision. Most comparison between AD and PI center around.... "what happen if.... " "what if.... " "warranty claim...."

FEAR should NOT be the reason why people buy cars from Authorised Distributors. Service quality and pricing should.

You should compare based on merits of AD vs PI, and shortcomings of AD vs PI.......

Best answer!

So i digress again: is a Cat inherently AWD, FF, or RR, since the front paws are more like ARBs?

RWD. Just look at the rear paws in the sig as it turns in sharp. If AWD, the cat would have said hello to the wall due to understeer. FF impossible cause it will slow down during corner. In this case, the cat is flat out.all the way before turning!!!

so given the same surface & corner, will a furry siamese take the corner faster than a stray cat? the fur acts as aerodynamic bodykit presuming.
