Hello guys,
I am currently driving a 1.6L 1993 E36. I have been getting a problem whereby my aircon turn on and off intermittently(lights on the Ac control will be blink off and on, if at off, no cold air will come out, only fan working). Sometimes it affects my radio too, making it turn on and off too.. My mechanic tried to check the fuses, checked the radio, check the wire behind the air con, use a different control unit and all seems fine, but the problem still persists. I have then came back and check online. Most articles say that the climate control computer's capacitor has a problem(however, since my mechanic used another unit to test and it still persists, it draws me away from the conclusion that it is the capacitor).
After all the checks done, and all the research, I still don't get where the fault lies.
Any one can help me this?
