I have mentioned this b4 but I think our primary 1 registration is a joke.

My Sg friend working in Germany forgot to register his daughter for Pri 1 and the school nearest to his apmt actually wrote/called him to remind him to do so by a certain date. Its like all residents in that district are "automatically enrolled" into that school unless you "reject".

Here, parents line up for everything. Simi Phase 1 Phase 2A Phase 2B until I lost count how many phases are there and the parents need to be volunteers. Children wanna go to school, the school "exploit" the parents 1st to get a sense of "priority" in balloting..Simi lan?

so unlike when the guys going NS.......
