Rear Aircon One side blowing hot AIR

Hi bros
Another problem has come up. Now the REAR right hand side vent for the rear air con is blowing out hot air whereas the left hand side is blowing cold air. All the front air con vents are functioning properly. Any bro has this problem before.
Any outside workshop to recommend for this issue?
Really appreciate the advice.

But only rear aircon right hand side. The rest all very cold

Understand this had been a very quite long post , just wonder how did u manage to solve this issue eventually ? Cos I am having the same problem now

There is no magical cure, bring it to a workshop and have it rectified.

Happened to my e60 once. Had to change the compressor then, about S$1k with labour

Hi Algino, same thing happened to my 2013 F10 in April this year. Rear aircon, only right side affected. Discharge hot air about 5-10 minutes after starting engine. According to workshop, changed broken heater valve and one (of many) server motor and it was solved.

Just an update here , finally got my heater valve replaced recently but sadly the problem still persists .. can feels slightly cooler that before but still hot overall

Did you go to any air con specialist to take a look?

Normally if not cold, probably a leak somewhere where the air con gas is not sufficient to cool the air, or the compressor is faulty such that it does not cool at a fast enough rate
Both will normally result in hot air but you may not feel it when the car is moving fast on highway as the cooler outside air will replace the air around the hot engine bay fast enough and do not take much effort to cool it to your normal set air con temp.

If only 1 side have cold the other side hot, it will most prob be an issue with the control valve or the main air con controller thingy.
Air con is quite a specialised problem and the labour is usually intensive. Get a good ws and pain 1 time but get to enjoy a few good years from the ride
