Re: S2000
I lived with an AP1 for 2 years, though it was registered in 2002, it was the last of the AP1s with the tail happy set-up (donut is easy), but the 9300 rev is what you look forward to with the top down and after a hard day work, pretty intoxicating.
I can get a Nike stand bag into the boot without having to remove my driver, so that's no bad at all. The boot is quite deep, so can still get a duffel bag for your shoes and change etc, and just enough space for a laptop bag in the boot. The canvas top does not intrude into the boot as it is stored behind the seats since it is a 2 seat roadster.
Maintenance was hardly anything, and being honda extremely reliable. Only had clutch pump failure, but that's probably contributed by me because of uprated clutch. Too heavy for stock pump to cope.
Had a set of KW variant 3 slotted in, and that tame the rear end quite a fair bit.
Unfortunately I had to sell it as I relocate to Aust for short term, but it has amazing resale since it was a kah motor's car, and because it is rare. I hear the new owner crashed it quite bad 3 weeks after taking over from me, and there was talk that the car be totalled. Not sure what happen after that.
