honestly.. alot of places are over charging.. but then its a biz and they need to make money.. Starbucks the worst. those that buy Venti without knowing that they are paying for so much just for milk are a poor lot..

I can never texture my milk like the cafes becos of the lack of pressure on my machine at home.. but at least I do a better job than the likes of Starbucks and Coffee Beans. Goodness, something is definitely wrong with their coaching!
Unless I am going to have an espresso I will try to avoid buying their coffee

ah.. but coffee joints ah.. really need to have passion.. coz dont make alot of money.. the cost of your latte is actually not cheap... depending on the beans you use... its the food that brings in the cash to pay for rent.
CSH and gang is doing pretty well though....

There are too many cafe around the island. A couple of them are roaster. Competitions are keen.
Sg rules are too rigid. Otherwise, can do mobile caffe on Orchard Rd. Low investment + Low overheads.
