Servicing at PML

Hello all, i just brought my car in for servicing in PML, actually i wanted this time to be the last time as i have some warrenty parts which i want to claim.

My car is suppose to be due for inspection 2 but to my surprise when i collect my car today, they only preform a inspection 1. Really is f***ed up la. So i am wondering what is the difference between these inspctions? Is there any part important that i need to change or check for my 84k millage car? PML is really wasting my time.. Somemore they took almost 2 days to complete the service already!!!

Anyone can help out there?

Re: Servicing at PML

.......... i foresee more fuming....cos tats wat i kena e last time.......there is a thread about wat u need to change check when u hit 100K....try lookin for it....

PML wont change parts for u unless u sound them out one...otherwise they'll juz go...its like that one.......its normal....nothing wrong what......

e last time went for servicing...i kena more squeaky brakes....squeaky wipers.....zzz at ridiculous pricing....will scan post e receipt here tomorrow if got time....

Re: Servicing at PML

Go to any of the workshops in the resources page. At 84k, common wear and tear items may have to change, like brake pads, rotor (if you've not changed before), shock absorber, etc.

Re: Servicing at PML

I called the CSA today, according to him, he say both inspection are almost the same, just that inspection 2 have to change spark plugs. He seem to be in a hurry to hang up the phone!!

Anyway, since there is a need to change plugs, i rather go for some aftermarket ones then go back to pml to change. Well, i think PML is really full of nonsense. If inspection 1 and 2 are really the same, then why pay more for inspection 2?? Anyway, thanks for the replies

Re: Servicing at PML

what a loada crap... compare the insp-1 and insp-2 lists and u'll see significant difference...

Re: Servicing at PML

unsatisfactory work...got squeaky wipers(S$11 labour cost for changing wiper @@)...squeaky brakes after this...zzz

Re: Servicing at PML

S$809 for labour alone... we could get this down by half at our trusted local workshops...

Re: Servicing at PML

Ya man, labour at PML really is damn expensive... Also not say their service or their parts are better...
