Simple ICE upgrade for E39

Dear friends, could I request for some information regarding a quick ICE upgrade. Having scoured the site, I have now decided on changing the front door speakers and rear (boot) mid range speakers, plus a new amplifier. Would appreciate a contact for this to be done reasonably and safely without repercussions to the integrity of the electrical system. Cheers, Jetman

Hi Jetman,

There was a similar discussion on this under this same ICE section.

Anyway, I decided to go with the cheapest mod - adding a 10 inch Infinity basslink subwoofer. The sub was simply hooked up to the existing OEM amplifer. The installer then made a hole in the rear deck to allow the bass through from the truck to the interior. It made a LOT of difference to overall sound.
