How come they can't deliver a speech extemporaneously ?

They never appeared nonchalant and would be seen Laboring for an hour delivering a bunch of "we must" this or that "to remain" (pick your choice - competitive or relevant) statements from a script while trying to connect with the audience.

Anyone read Patton's speech ..... That is a real speech.

Cos they are scholars who are good at memorizing n passing exam.., other than good at passing exams, they are useless .

Looks at our economy, highly dependent on pop growth to drive consumption/investment . Cheap labour to expand corporate net margin, propaganda n dear tactics to win votes .

Every now & then been bombarded with their future talk....
Of course we know our future...they spell it very clearly that most can see if you are > 40 yrs old, you either kanna lay off becos jobs replaced by cheap labours, then one will become taxi drivers, food chain service chaps, security or cleaners....scared me if I will to turn 40.

Quite sick of it, and if we know that will be our future, then should we rather go for the unknown future?

owe people (err actually china and japan are the largest creditor) so much money already such a disgrace
every year wayang the debt limit like washing dirty laundry openly ... and naked too
for years act as big bro to instruct > guide > advise > tell other nation how to work and behave

First - all politicians are the same, black, red or white. Never trust them.

The US politicians are the best when it comes to delivering motherhood statements.

Go and watch Independence Day. Makes you feel shiok and make you want to fly the plane into the heart of the alien mothership.

But listen to our local politicians and it is a different matter.

So, whether good speech or bad, it is the same old thing. I am your servant until they are elected then they govern you and become your master.
