Hey guys!

I recently raced in the STCC organized by the Singapore Motor Sports Association (SMSA) held at the Johor Circuit in Pasir Gudang.

This was my 3rd time at the track and first time in the DC5 race car provided by LTM Performance (http://www.ltmperformance.sg). 9tro magazine (9tro) was there to cover the event and details of the event will be avilable in their next issue.

Summary of events:

Qualifying was held in the form of a 3 lap race much like CCTs. Drivers drew lots to determine the starting position. I drew 8th. The race went according to plan and I finished first and thus qualified on pole for the race.

The race was going to be 10 laps. Disaster struck during the formation lap. The moment I got to pole position, my both front tires punctured at the starting grid! Cannot believe that this can happen to me. I thought this only happened on TV haha. Anyways, I had to return to the pits to change tires and instead of starting 1st, I started dead last!

Videos of the onboard action of the qualifying and actual race:

Enjoy! =)

to be honest, I have no clue! I was just driving and warming up the tires and heard the "POP!" "POP!" sound at the grid! Sian man...

My mechanics said that some stones poke through the tires...well guess this is PG for you man. These were brand new tires somemore man! Sigh!

hey guys!

The final race of the season:

The weather was changing all the time and it made the decision of using dry or damp or wet settings a tough one... I went with a compromise, a damp setting. However, the track cleared out and was almost perfectly dry after a few laps into the race.

Hope you guys enjoy the racing =)
